"Switch off Hazelwood. Switch off Coal. Switch on Renewables," is being organised a collective of people who care about climate change and want to see a switch from coal to renewable energy.
Some of us working on this day of peaceful mass community civil disobedience are members of Community Climate Action Groups, professional groups (Doctors, Lawyers, Scientists) and many of us are just part of it as individuals - because we care enough to take action. No one organisation is coordinating or running this event.
